What you need to know about Returning Items to Blueprint Industries

Blueprint Industries aims to provide you with the best products and service. Our online facilities make this shopping experience simple and convenient. Items that are being returned can be sent by Post or directly to our office. You can help avoid any frustration and assist us in responding to your return quickly by ensuring you familiarize yourself with the following information. Please note Blueprint Industries can only accept returns for goods purchased directly from us. Goods purchased through another reseller will need to be returned to the point of sale.

For any product return please contact our technical support staff on 1300-586-586 to obtain a Return Authority Number before returning the product.

1. Please retain your receipt or proof of purchase.

In order to process a refund, exchange or repair a product purchased from Blueprint Industries you should have clear proof of purchase - typically a receipt. If you do not have clear proof of purchase, Blueprint Industries is not obligated to offer you an exchange, refund or repair.

To assist with loss prevention and to reduce fraud we will need to record your personal details. For further information on our Privacy Policy, please refer to our website at www.blueprintonline.com.au .

2. For products that are either faulty, unfit for purpose or do not match the advertised description?

Once proof of purchase has been established, if the product fault can safely and clearly be determined in-store, we will offer you, exchange, repair.

Where the product fault is difficult or potentially dangerous to determine by our staff we will need to consult with the manufacturer or repair agent to determine the fault and resolution.

Our sales staff are happy to liaise with the manufacturer or repair agent on your behalf to resolve the issue but it may take six weeks or more to complete the process. In some cases it may be more convenient for you to liaise with the manufacturer directly to isolate the fault, in these cases Blueprint Industries can provide you with manufacturers repair agents contact details.

We cannot offer a refund or exchange where the product has sustained damage due to inappropriate use, whether that has been identified by Blueprint Industries, the manufacturer or repair agent. If the product does not match it's advertised description, we will provide you with either a refund or Gift Card to the value of the item purchased.

3. Have you changed your mind?

If you still have your receipt and it is within 14 days of purchase, we may give you an exchange or credit to the value of the purchase price excluding any shipping and handling costs, providing the product is:

- Not on the Product Exclusion List (as per above list)

- In its original condition and packaging (including manuals and accessories)

If you cannot provide proof of purchase Blueprint Industries is unable to provide you with a credit or refund.

Additional Information

What is an Account Credit and when would I receive one?

An Account Credit provides you with a credit to the value of the goods returned. You may elect to receive an account credit (rather than a refund) when the product is faulty or does not match the description advertised. An account credit may also be given if you change your mind and decide to return a product within our returns guidelines. Once issued the Account Credit is not redeemable for cash and is valid for six months from the date of issue.

Blueprint Industries requests my personal information during the refund or exchange process, what do they do with the information?

Our respect for customer's right to privacy of their personal information is paramount. We have policies and procedures to ensure that all personal information no matter how or where it is obtained is handled sensitively, securely and in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. We may collect personal information during the refund or exchange process in order to comply with our fraud identification processes. Please note: When a refund is granted, we will refund the original purchase price via the previous method of payment indicated on the receipt.
